Bethia works with our members to identify and shape new opportunities, conduct due diligence and review performance outcomes of grantee partners. Bethia is a boomeranger; after growing up in Shaker Heights she spent her early career in the greater D.C. area conducting cost risk reviews of major defense programs while earning her master’s degree in applied economics. Bethia was compelled by the mission of the Fund to return to Northeast Ohio. Now the mother of two, Bethia selfishly hopes that through the work of the Fund — and others — Northeast Ohio will be the place where her sons choose to live when they are grown. Time Bethia used to spend running, cooking and traveling is now devoted to matching teeny tiny pairs of socks, reading (and re-reading and re-reading) The Adventures of Frog and Toad, and drinking in baby smiles.
