Cuyahoga County's public transportation issues, including funding, access and routes, will be addressed by a new Cuyahoga County Council subcommittee.
The Regional Transportation Advisory Subcommittee was formed by Council President Dan Brady after a number of residents spoke at council meetings this fall when the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority announced fare increases and service cuts.
"It seems to me and others that this was a regional issue that County Council had an incentive to be involved in a way that it hasn't been," Brady said at a Nov. 29 council meeting.
