The Fund for Our Economic Future, a collaboration of more than 40 funders, has laid out a strategy for the next three years that will focus on implementing the concepts laid out in the Fund's recent report, "The Two Tomorrows."
That report argues that maintaining and growing the region's economic vitality will depend upon the ability to connect people to good jobs.
"In 'The Two Tomorrows,' we were candid: Northeast Ohio faces real economic challenges, but there is a path forward," said vice president Bethia Burke in a press release. "We must choose the path that will lead us to an extraordinary tomorrow. We must redefine what we consider to be success and advance efforts that will improve not just job creation in this community, but preparation for and access to jobs."
